Wes Blankenship was a young vampire from Queens, New York. He appears in the What We Do in the Shadows TV series.
Biography[]
Wes had a Master's degree in urban planning and led the Council of Vampires, a young group of vampires and energy vampires who rejected the authority of the Vampiric Council. When they stopped paying their dues to the Vampiric Council of the Eastern Seaboard, they received a visit from the Council's new leaders Nandor and Nadja. Wes and his group refused to comply, especially as Nandor and Nadja could not agree on how to confront them. Eventually, as Nandor tried to peacefully negotiate, Nadja suddenly ripped out Wes' heart, killing him instantly as a warning to the rest of his group.[1]
