Toby is the biggest and strongest werewolf of the Staten Island Werewolf Support Group. He appears in What We Do in the Shadows (TV series).
Biography[]
What We Do in the Shadows, Season 1: 2019[]
One night, Laszlo caused a feud with Staten Island Werewolf Support Group after catching their leader, Arjan, in a wolf trap. To settle the score, Nandor insisted that both parties follow the Staten Island Lycanthrope Vampire Agreement of 1993, which states that they must get their strongest vampire to fight the pack’s strongest werewolf to settle the feud.
The vampires and werewolves decided to face each other on the roof of an abandoned Circuit City store. Nandor was chosen to face off against Toby. Toby transformed by merely imagining a full moon and chose his own teeth and claws as a weapon. Nandor defeated him by throwing a squeaky bone toy off the roof, which Toby jumped after. The vampires flew away, leaving a frightened Guillermo at the scene, but the werewolves left him alone to look after Toby and requested to keep the bone.[1]
What We Do in the Shadows, Season 3: 2021[]
Toby recovered from the incident and encountered the vampires again in 2021 when his fellow pack member Anton dated and turned Nandor's love interest Gail. The two groups tried to settle their differences with a game of kickball.[2]
