- For the eponymous episode, see "Revengers".
The Revengers were a vigilante group consisting of three superhuman members of the Naenae Neighbourhood Watch.
History[]
The three Neighbourhood Watch members, Bill, Molly and an unnamed woman, all came to feel that the Wellington Police did not do enough to tackle petty crime in their area. One day in 2021, a meteorite crashed into their road and the three gained superpowers from the radiation. Bill gained the ability to control electricity, Molly gained cat-like powers and the woman gained all the knowledge of the internet from her smartphone. They became the Revengers and adopted the nicknames of Power Man Bill, Cat Lady and Google Girl.
Over the following days, Google Girl would pick up reports of petty crime, leading the other two members to use their powers to tackle and apprehend the criminals at the scene. A pharmacy robber led Officers O'Leary and Minogue to the group after he was found tied up by them.
The two officers eventually came face-to-face with the Revengers. Constable Parker, who gained the power of magnetism, attempted to use his powers to stop them but failed. Another superpowered member of the neighbourhood, George, arrived to request to join the group, but was rejected. Upset, he blasted Bill with his new ability to shoot jets of water from his hands. Bill fought back with electricity and the resulting shockwave knocked out all the superhumans in the area and depleted their powers.[1]
