The Briannas are a coven of three young witches attending St. Carrietta’s Girls High School. They appear in Wellington Paranormal.
History[]
The three girls (Brianna A., Briannah H. and Bree-Anna Q.) were social outcasts who were bullied by several other girls at their school. While working as volunteer librarians, they discovered a spellbook, Moste Potente Spells, and gained supernatural powers from it. They caused an explosion in the witchcraft and folklore section of the library, causing several students to become injured. The Briannas used their telekinetic powers to bully girls who previously picked on them or asked “too many questions” and to shoplift potato chips from a nearby store. The three also changed their appearance by adopting identical platinum blonde haircuts.
The shoplifting prompted officers O’Leary and Minogue to investigate, where they saw another bag of chips being levitated out the store. Upon inspecting the CCTV footage, the Paranormal Unit traced the girls to their school, where another student, Neve Robinson, gave evidence of their wrongdoings. The investigation caused the Briannas to use their powers to try to intimidate Neve and the officers by writing “FeAR THe BriANNAS” on a bathroom wall, sewing “SnitcHeS GeT STITCHeS” on the school quilt, levitating a sewing machine and stitching up the head and hand holes of Neve’s jersey.
That night, Minogue and O’Leary returned to the school library to find the girls chanting around the spellbook. While Minogue distracted them, O’Leary took the book and the witches pursued them to the hall. The girls used telekinesis to tie up Minogue with streamers and O’Leary threatened to tear up the book. Realising she couldn’t, O’Leary lectured them and told them that in tormenting others, the girls had become bullies themselves. The witches attempted to kill the two anyway and Minogue tased them by intentionally rebounding the taser off the spellbook.
The girls were sentenced to community service and were forced to remove graffiti and litter around the school.[1]
