Jackie served as Deacon’s human familiar for four and a half years while being married to Terry. After Deacon repeatedly delayed turning her, her ex-boyfriend Nick finally granted her wish of becoming a vampire. She had Terry serve as her familiar and proceeded to treat him like a servant, just like she had been treated, even though they still had a supposedly loving relationship.
