Staten Island Borough Council are the local governing body of Staten Island, which made them a target for the vampires residing there.
History[]
Colin Robinson was a regular attendee of the council meetings to feast on the banality. When his roommates were tasked by Baron Afanas to take over the island, Colin suggested they take the matter to the council. After a dull speech from Colin, Nandor told the council that he will take over. This was not taken seriously as it had nothing to do with the purpose of the evening’s meeting, which concerned zoning ordinances.
Colin informed Nandor that the councilperson Doug Peterson was a likely candidate to become the next council president. Nandor decided to treat Peterson as a “pawn” to take down the current leader, Barbara Lazarro, and controlled Peterson's mind from a great distance.
Meanwhile, Laszlo took a different approach and tried to win Lazarro's favour by killing dozens of raccoons, which she had considered to have gotten out of control. Laszlo dumped the bodies at her doorstep, and a horrified Lazarro decried this at the next council meeting. An entranced Peterson made things worse by violently insulting and threatening the council, only to be tackled by security. Realising neither plan had worked, the vampires left the meeting, apart from Colin, who stayed to feast on the agitation.[1]
