Sheena is a young werewolf living in Wellington. She appears in Wellington Paranormal.
Biography[]
As a human, Sheena had a turbulent relationship with Dion. She was aware that he was a werewolf, but his constant transformations led to her leaving him. Unbeknownst to her, she gained lycanthropy from him.
Shortly afterwards, Sheena began periodically transforming without realising during a full moon where clouds kept covering and revealing the moon. She attacked the scooter of a pizza delivery man and stole his meat pizzas, and took away at least one dog belonging to a gang leader. When O’Leary and Minogue interviewed the leader, his remaining two dogs were taken by Sheena.
While the officers took a break in the police car, several people ran past in terror and loud noises were heard. They went out to investigate and found other people saying they were fleeing a werewolf. They briefly spotted Sheena in werewolf form, but when they caught up with her, they only found her in human form, lying on the ground confused and drunk with a lot of scratches. The officers took her to the station.
In the interrogation room, Sheena only recalled that her torn shorts used to be jeans and she remembered huge claws in front of her face. Sergeant Maaka concluded that because her scratches were obviously caused by twigs and many dogs have been photographed wearing jeans on the internet, she was not a werewolf and should be taken home. However as O’Leary and Minogue drove Sheena home, Maaka called them realising she is a werewolf whose transformations were brief due to the occasional cloud cover. The claws she saw were probably her own, the jeans tore due to her transformation and she left a dog owner smell in the interrogation room despite not having a dog. As the moon became exposed, Sheena transformed and the officers evacuated the car. They searched for her as she went from werewolf to human form repeatedly, and Minogue eventually lured her with a sausage roll.
The officers handcuffed and interviewed Sheena in her house, accusing her of being a werewolf. Angrily realising that they were right, she broke apart her handcuffs and stormed into Dion's house. The two had a loud argument, accusing each other of cheating, and started making out. Realising that there was nothing they could do, O’Leary and Minogue left the house as the couple began fighting. The officers said they would wait until morning and then consider having the werewolves microchipped and neutered.[1]
