Sentient fatbergs are fatbergs that have come to life.

Characteristics[]

Fatbergs are masses of congealed fat that have collected in sewers. It is not known how, but a fatberg may come alive, gaining the appearance of pink slime with globs of white fat. They will absorb humans and animals, whose forms and thoughts will merge with that of the fatberg, causing the victims to be able to squeeze into thin spaces such as pipes and drain gratings. Fatbergs can be separated into smaller sentient pieces, which will lack intelligence if they have not absorbed any other beings. Fatbergs can be destroyed by fire, and any person removed from a fatberg will go back to normal and make a full recovery.

History[]

In 2021, a fatberg in the sewers of Wellington became sentient and left the sewers, absorbing people in car washes and through toilets. It also consumed several animals. After the Paranormal Unit realized it could be destroyed with fire, they blew it up using illegal fireworks they had previously confiscated.[1]
