The possessed doll was a gift that became dangerous and hostile on Christmas Eve. It appeared in Wellington Paranormal.
History[]
The doll was gifted to a member of an unnamed family of four in Wellington. On the evening of Christmas Eve 2019, the doll broke out of its wrapping, claiming to be possessed by a murderer, and tried to attack the family. They fled outside and called the police. Officers Minogue and O’Leary arrived, entered the house and were ambushed by the doll, which armed itself with a knife. The officers fought back with the family’s other Christmas presents, with O’Leary eventually neutralising it with a cricket bat.
Later, Minogue entered a void via a vortex during another call and found Officer Fuzzypants, Sergeant Maaka’s missing childhood bear. Minogue gifted it to Maaka for his Secret Santa present, but when he wasn’t looking, the bear moved by itself, indicating that it may be possessed by the same entity that took the doll.[1]
In 2021, Constable Parker encountered a shapeshifter who transformed into his worst fears and briefly turned into the doll.[2]
