Synopsis[]
Nandor and Laszlo air out their differences on a hunting trip at an isolated cabin, Nadja has a girls' night, and Guillermo reconnects with his family for the first time in twelve years.
Plot Summary[]
Sean invites Laszlo, Nandor, and Baby Colin to join him for a “guys’ weekend” at his hunting cabin in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Unfortunately, this is complicated by the fact that Nandor and Laszlo's bickering has escalated over the course of the weekend. Laszlo shoots Nandor through the hand, and the gunshots wake Sean, who points out that Colin has gone missing. Nandor and Laszlo go into the woods to find him playing on his tablet, at the same time managing to reconcile, admitting that they’ve both missed spending time together. While they're gone, Sean is attacked by the Jersey Devil, but Colin distracts it by playing Bon Jovi, allowing Laszlo and Nandor to kill it.
Meanwhile, Nadja and Guillermo, who are both unaware that they are not alone in the house, had both planned to spend the weekend in their own ways: Nadja has a girls’ night with Doll Nadja, Marwa, and The Guide, while Guillermo invites his family over for dinner to celebrate his grandmother's birthday. When Nadja walks down and interrupts their dinner, she and Guillermo pretend to be a couple to prevent his family from discovering that she is a vampire, but being in close proximity with her causes Guillermo's vampire hunter relatives to grow agitated until eventually they chase Nadja out of the room with stakes. Guillermo puts himself between Nadja and his family, and admits that he works for Nadja and the rest of the vampires in the house, and hopes to become one himself one day. He also admits that Nadja is not his girlfriend, and that he's gay. While his family is supportive of his sexuality, they are not so accepting of Nadja's vampirism, though she is convinced by Guillermo to spare their lives and selectively hypnotize them to forget about everything aside from Guillermo coming out.[1]
