Necromancers are people who practice magic that involves resurrection, and communication with the dead or undead.
Characteristics[]
Similar to witches, necromancers use spells, special ingredients and concoctions as part of their practice. They may use their skills to help vampires and other paranormal beings. Many necromancers use shops as a front to hide their services from the general public.
History[]
Laszlo Cravensworth enlisted the help of a necromancer (whose store was under the guise of an electronics store called Compact Disc Town) to remove a curse from a witch skin hat he owned. The necromancer tried pouring a special powder on the hat, which only caused it to scream and writhe in pain, an occurrence that hadn’t happened before.[1]
When Nadja and Laszlo’s familiar Topher accidentally died, the couple hired a necromancer, Wallace, to bring him back. During the resurrection ritual, Wallace became distracted by his phone and accidentally brought Topher back as a zombie. When the vampires eventually realised, Wallace took ownership of Topher and set him to work in his basement amongst several other zombies he had accidentally created.[2]
