Mrs. Maaka is the mother of Sergeant Ruawai Maaka. She appears in Wellington Paranormal's COVID 2: The return.
Biography[]
Mrs. Maaka is of Māori origin. She made her first appearance when she interrupted her son with a video call while he was filming a PSA raising awareness of Covid-19 regulations. She expressed disappointment that Ruawai had not visited her in a while, but asserted that she was proud of him, making him very emotional. She also suggested he use the scarf she had given him as a face covering.[1]
