Manhattan is the most densely populated borough of New York City. It has a very high vampire population, led by Simon the Devious.
History[]
When the vampires Simon the Devious, Laszlo Cravensworth and Nadja left Europe for the USA, Simon decided stop off at Manhattan and the other two chose to reside in Staten Island. Simon climbed his way up to power and became the leader of all the vampires in Manhattan at the relatively young age of 107, while Laszlo and Nadja made little impact on Staten Island. Simon also founded a very successful vampire nightclub, The Sassy Cat Club.
In 2019, Laszlo, Nadja and their roommates Nandor and Colin Robinson paid Simon's club a visit for the first time in decades to propose forming an alliance with his vampires. Simon initially agreed to join forces, on the condition that Laszlo hand over his witch skin hat, not realising it was cursed. Laszlo refused, but Simon's gang, The Leather Skins, intimidated him into giving it up. Simon went back on his word and kicked the vampires out of the club. As they left, the cursed hat caused Simon to accidentally blow up the club with a flaming arrow.
Nandor later flew over Manhattan while carrying his familiar Guillermo, only to accidentally drop him on a food truck.[1]
