Justin was a familiar to Laszlo and Nadja.
Shortly after their previous familiar, June, was eaten by Baron Afanas, Justin was adopted as her replacement. Wanting to impress Simon the Devious, Laszlo insisted he wear his cursed hat made out of witch skin on his trip to Manhattan. When Laszlo tried to show Justin the hat, he accidentally stumbled backwards into a bookshelf, which fell on top of him and killed him.
