Imaginary friends are invisible monsters created by the minds of young children.
Characteristics[]
Imaginary friends have monstrous forms that vary between individuals. They are invisible and can only be seen through heat vision goggles. If they lose a body part they will regrow them, but the severed part will become visible. If a human comes into contact with the monster’s blood, they will gradually become temporarily invisible.
Imaginary friends pose no threat to the children who invent them, but may become disruptive and aggressive if separated from their creators.
History[]
In 2021, a young girl named Megan created several imaginary friends. One of them, Daisy, became disruptive when Megan and her parents went on holiday and she started wrecking the home. When the family returned, they thought someone had broken in and called the police. O'Leary and Minogue apprehended Daisy and took her to the station, but she was able to escape. One of her tentacles was cut off by the door on her way out; it became visible and the blood turned Constable Parker temporarily invisible.
Minogue and O'Leary returned to the family home and found Megan having a tea party with Daisy and her other friends. The officers concluded that Daisy had not broken any laws, but had her wear a tracking device for security.[1]
