The Cloak of Duplication is a magical cloak that disguises the wearer as another person the cloak previously touched.
History[]
The Staten Island vampire roommates first saw the cloak when the Vampiric Council Guide showed it to them in the Chamber of Curiosities at the Temple of Blood-Devourers. By simply tapping Nandor with the cloak and putting it on, she was able to take the exact appearance of Nandor and his clothing, although her voice remained the same.
Around this time, Nandor became attracted to Meg, the receptionist of his local gym, but lacked the confidence to ask out 21st Century women. Nandor gave the more confident Laszlo the Cloak of Duplication and asked him to disguise himself as Nandor to seduce Meg. Too lazy to do the job, Laszlo gave the task to Colin Robinson instead.

Colin, disguised as Nandor, attempted to woo Meg by negging her, leading her to get annoyed and call security to throw him out. Colin passed the cloak back to Laszlo, who apologized to Meg but came on too strong when trying to seduce her, leading him to also get thrown out by security after quickly hypnotizing her to forget the incident.
The cloak was then passed to Guillermo, who succeeded in inviting Meg for a meal in the gym café. Guillermo ended up discussing his relationship with Nandor, leading Meg to believe the two were in a romantic connection and she told Guillermo to be more open about his feelings. Guillermo felt overwhelmed and excused himself.
Believing that Laszlo had successfully spoken to Meg, Nandor returned to the gym. He asked her out, but she revealed that she is a lesbian and has no interest in men. Nandor hypnotized her into forgetting the conversation and left.
Later, Nandor and Nadja had an argument and she wore the cloak to take Nandor's form and get intimate with Laszlo just to annoy Nandor.[1]
