Cheeseface is the ghost of an unnamed man who died in 1977. He appears in Wellington Paranormal.
Biography[]
In 1977, numerous guests died during a party hosted by Raymond St John at 23 Tukariri Street. One of them was a man who drowned after falling into a cheese fondue.
In 2018, officers O'Leary and Minogue investigated a noise complaint about a 70's themed party in the house. All the people in the house suddenly disappeared and Minogue was disturbed to see the ghost of ‘Cheeseface’, covered in melted cheese and fondue skewers. Sergeant Maaka correctly suspected the partygoers were all ghosts and sent the officers back to investigate.
After many disturbing sights, the officers encountered Cheeseface in the hall and ran into the living room to hide. They later found the ghost of Raymond, who made the party come back. The Paranormal Unit told the guests that they were all ghosts, something they did not believe until O’Leary shined a torch light through them. The police asked the guests if they wanted to stay, Cheeseface asserted that he was not having a good time and wanted to leave.
Raymond was arrested for multiple accounts of holding people against their will and for forty years of noise complaints, while all the guests left the house to depart into the afterlife. While most of the guests ascended into heaven, Cheeseface was seen being dragged into Hell.[1]
