Molly is a resident of Naenae, Wellington, and a member of her local Neighbourhood Watch. She appears in Wellington Paranormal.

Biography[]

To gather more evidence following a report of a supposed large dog attacking a nearby pizza delivery man, officers Minogue and O'Leary interviewed Molly. She complained that the dogs of the town were becoming a problem and blamed the dogs of a gang leader living at 92 Kurimarama Street, opposite her house, for the deaths of eight of her cats in the past year alone. This made her upset, as without her cats she was “just a lady”, not a "cat lady".

The officers interviewed the gang leader but found that his dogs were also going missing; his dogs were later revealed to have been taken by Sheena, a werewolf.[1]

The Paranormal Unit encountered Molly again in 2021 when a meteorite crashed into her road. She reported one of her cats, Chairman Meow, going missing to them and then found that the radiation from the meteorite gave her cat-like superpowers. She gained the ability to jump high distances and spit large, sticky hairballs. She joined forces with fellow superhuman Neighbourhood Watch members to form a vigilante group called The Revengers and they waged war against petty criminals in the area.

Eventually Molly’s neighbour, George, blasted Revenger Bill with water from his hands, and Bill fought back with an electrical beam, causing a shockwave that depleted the powers of all the superhumans.[2]
